We have learned that Assurant Dental may not have sent new cards out to affected TPD personnel yet. If this is the case, your dentist will automatically look for coverage under your old WCFPBA account (S946) and may think you are not covered.

Please inform your dentist you still have the same coverage, but under a new Tampa PBA account (605370). When they check with the insurance company, everything should check out OK. Please do this as needed until your new cards arrive (make note of the Client ID number contained within the parenthesis). I was just informed by Assurant that they are re-issuing cards to all affected TPD personnel again.

New news from Assurant Dental. They will be sending your membership cards to the Tampa PBA office and we will make sure you get them.
